We
invite the people and business enterprises of KwaZulu-Natal to support us in
this wonderful cause, i.e. to establish our own KWAZULU-NATAL YOUTH magazine. Distribution 30 000 copies will initially be printed & distributed monthly. 5 000 copies will be distributed from Durban to as far north as Richards Bay and Zululand (North Coast); 15 000 copies will be distributed on the South Coast from Durban through Amanzimtoti to as far south as Bizana; 2 500 copies will be distributed inland to towns and cities as far inland as Pietermaritzburg and 7 500 copies will be distributed to the Provinces Gauteng (5 000) and the Free State (2 500). From October 2011 we will print and distribute upwards of 50 000 copies in total, from month to month; and from July 2012 we will print and distribute upwards of 100 000 copies from month to month. The business’ head office is located in Umtentweni on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal – thus we will focus our marketing and promotions campaigns mainly in this region. The management Company, Trademall, aim to present to the people of KwaZulu-Natal a publication which will focus mainly on YOUTH issues; newsworthy topics aimed at UPLIFTMENT; interesting events related to the YOUTH population resident in the holiday – and leisure capital of South Africa, KwaZulu-Natal. The magazine will be presented with 100% English content. Content Some or all of the following subjects will be indexed in each of our monthly magazines. 1. YOUTH Issues; 2. Tourism Marketing; 3. Outdoor Pursuits – Flying, Ballooning, Parachuting, Mountaineering, Deep Sea Diving, Fishing, 4 x 4 Travel, Birding, SAN Paintings, the Bush and Wildlife, Nature Trails, Conservation etc.; 4. Hospitality – Hotel, B & B Industry, Restaurants and Coffee Shops; 5. Birds and Wildlife; 6. Articles – about interesting and sometimes unusual stories of successful – and or popular young peoples of KwaZulu-Natal (our readers will continuously be invited to share such information or knowledge with us, and sometimes for handsome financial rewards); 7. Front Page Stories – These will usually be stories listed on the front page, with the potential to “draw the attention” of potential readers/ purchasers and some of such stories will usually be the main reason why many will decide to pay the cover price of R11.95; 8. An inspiring Story (for the youth) – 1 page – a sequel, will be published in every issue of the magazine. Local talented writers will from time to time be invited to contribute more stories; 9. Competitions – each publication will have a few interesting competitions with handsome cash amounts up for grabs; 10. Young Love – 1 page - where readers can ask a local expert/psychologist questions about relationships among young adults and children at secondary and tertiary institutions; 11. Computers & Technology; 12. Fashion trends among the young; 13. Entertainment – 1 page - outdoors, and leisure activities in the province - for the younger generation; 14. Lifestyle – aimed at uplifting the lifestyle of mainly the younger generation; 15. Readers FORUM – one page – where readers are invited to participate in a topical debate; 16. Education – 2 pages – with the target audience being young adults/ students. This will encourage readership from a group that desperately need this kind of advice; 17. Careers – 1 page – investigative journalism - a monthly column about careers with the aim to target young adults; 18. Money Matters – 2 pages – we will source information and interview key figures from local financial institutions and investment brokers to get advice from them for this column; 19.
