FOLLOW A TOUR ROUTE
Southern Explorer's exploration guide divides the South Coast into nine individual tours. Each tour has its own map, conveniently showing where to find each attraction listed in its section of the Sputhern Explorer. Each trail has its unique character but they all have more than enough to keep visiting families busy, come rain or shine.
*Tour One takes in the area between Umkomaas to popular Scottburgh and the pretty little town of Pennington.
*Tour Two takes in the area between Pennington and Umtentweni and the town of Port Shepstone, the commercial hub of the Hibiscus Coast.
*Tour Three wanders inland from Port Shepstone to Oribi Gorge, with its wildlife and the 'Wild 5' adventures for adrenalin junkies. The inland areas are less known Hibiscus Coast attractions and are well worth exploring.
*Tour Four meanders down the coast from Oslo Beach to Margate. Taking in the South Coast's largest shopping mall and some of its most popular beaches.
*Tour Five takes in the action-packed area between Margate, the hub of the HIbiscus Coast tourism industry, and the quaint little village of Ramsgate.
*Tour Six, between Ramsgate and Southbroom, offers plenty for art lovers and those in search of cultural activities.
*Tour Seven, between picturesque Southbroom and Marina Beach, offers plenty of interesting and unusual attractions.
*Tour Eight takes you deep south, from Marina Beach to Trafalgar and down to Port Edward, the Hibiscus Coast's most southerly resort. You'll love the unspoilt beaches in this area.
*Finally, Tour Nine takes you across the border to the Wild Coast and offers explorers a chance to experience a little of the former Transkei's magic.
